Permanent makeup CANNOT be performed if you are:
-Under the age of 18
-Pregnant or breastfeeding
-Undergoing any radiation or chemotherapy treatments. You would need to be post-treatment for at least 6-12 months and provide approval from your physician.
-Taking immunosuppressive medication/have been diagnosed with an immune disorder (Examples: MS, Lupus, RA, Diabetes, etc.).
-Taking blood thinners, regularly taking painkillers (over the counter and prescription), street narcotics, krill oil/fish oil (yes, this is a natural blood thinner), or indulging in regular alcohol use
-Have taken antibiotics in the past 30 days
-Have untreated and undiagnosed heart conditions
-Trichotillomania diagnosis
-Frequently suntans or uses the tanning bed.
-History of Keloids

If you're considering having permanent makeup done and have the following health concerns, please talk to your doctor before starting the booking process:
-Herpes simplex, cold sores, or have had any active cold sores in the past.
-Have any active infection
-Have an upcoming surgery within 4 weeks. This is important as your healing time will coincide with your post-op healing.
-High risk of infection
- Requires antibiotics during dental work
-Noncompliant with aftercare instructions. Your compliance with guidelines and aftercare can and will heavily affect the outcome of your service.

If you're considering permanent makeup, remember this: your skin needs to be healed from the following:
-3-4 weeks post-facial treatments. This includes chemical peels, laser treatment, micro-needling, and any other facial services that cause trauma to the skin.
-Botox injections on the forehead within 3 weeks.
-Lasering on or near the area for at least 8-12 weeks
-Radiation or chemotherapy for at least 6-12 months
-Accutane for at least 12 months

Facial waxing CANNOT be performed on:
-Sunburned skin
-Individuals taking Accutane, topical retinoids, prednisone, or blood thinners
-Areas with moles or skin tags
-Active herpes simplex (cold sores)
-Skin that has recently undergone laser treatments or Botox (wait 5-7 days after Botox)
-Those with diabetes
-People taking Lupus medication
Attempting to wax under these conditions may harm your skin, increase sensitivity, or affect Botox results.

Contraindications for brow tinting include:
-Skin conditions (cuts, abraisians, skin bruising, sunburn, undiagnosed lumps or raised skin, conjunctivitis, eczema)
-Hypersensitive skin or allergies. If you are interested this service and have these sensitivities, please talk to your physician first. You are welcome to get a patch test before booking.
-Cancer, taking chemotherapy, or in remission
